Meet the Candidate
Britt Noser was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in 1976. His father was a small animal veterinarian and his mother was an interior designer. Britt attended St. Francis of Assisi School and Lourdes High School, graduating in 1994. He earned a bachelor’s in history in 1998 from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s in secondary education in 2000 from the University of Missouri. He has worked in the public sector as a high school teacher, in the private sector in apartment management and finally as entrepreneur in his real estate business. Britt and his wife, Kelly, of 22 years, have four beautiful children, Leo, Teddy, Leni and Wil.
Authentic Experience
Britt has broad, diverse work experience including public sector, private sector and entrepreneurship. Whether on the boards of non-profit charity organizations or in matters of business, Britt has successfully made consequential decisions throughout his career. His independent, decisive judgment will well serve the citizens of Rochester. As a citizen candidate, Britt brings a practical, common sense view needed to solve the issues and challenges facing Rochester. When Britt was a teacher, his greatest successes involved getting kids who “didn’t want to learn” engaged and thinking critically. As a manager in the apartment/hospitality industry, Britt played a key role in developing a specialized service plan to serve culturally diverse visitors. In his property business, Britt has established himself as a responsible, attentive local businessman. A relationship-building style of leadership and good communication are key elements in his record of accomplishments. As mayor, Britt will have allegiance to only one special interest and that is to see Rochester become the best version of herself possible. He trusts the citizens of Rochester and will lead by delegating power, not authority.
